We loved staying in this part of town. The area is a little quieter than surrounding neighborhoods, and only a short and enjoyable walk to busier neighborhoods and metro line. Area also has nice shops and restaurants, with the apartment also close to grocery, fruit/veg store, cheese shop, bakery, etc. The apartment itself was absolutely lovely and perfect, with lots of charm and personal touches. Windows shut out the street noise. The hosts met us to show us around and explain how things work, and were happy to give us recommendations of places to go. They also left a manual with restaurant recommendations and things to do. Finally, they were very easy to contact with any questions we had, quick to respond, and even checked in to see how things were. I would absolutely want to stay here again, and indeed, hope I have a chance to!

Beautiful, peaceful, quaint apartment in a quiet, central neighborhood of Paris! Everything was clean and prepared for our arrival. The hosts were helpful and responsive. They included an extensive welcome booklet with details on the apartment and area with recommendations, which was thoughtful. Would definitely return and recommend!

Jean Luc and Sylviane’s flat was one of my top 3 . Questions were responded to immediately and in detail. But even before he responded I knew I wanted to stay there. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, I felt I was in a really loved Parisian home. Both Jean Luc and Sylviane greeted me at the entrance of the apartment. They were very flexible about both check in and check out times which really helped me. They showed me around and talked me through all I needed to know. They showed apartment itself was very spacious with no dead space and quite a few different corners you could settle in, so it could easily accommodate two couples or more. I was afraid the pictures were done so as to magnify the size of the apparent but that wasn’t the case at all. It was spacious and as Jean Luc described it, bathed in light. If outside space is a must for you, don’t over look this place. With the widows open on both sides it felt airy and outside. I’m definitely going back. Thank you 50 stars Chris

Jean-Luc and Sylviane have been very responsive and kind. The checking-in was very easy, they waited for us at the entrance of the building and showed us how to enter the building using different keys. They also showed us around in the apartment and made us feel like being home. We have had a wonderful time there. This apartment is in one of the best locations in Paris. Highly recommended.

This was one of the loveliest homes we have ever stayed in. Jean Luc met us there and showed us around. He was so kind I wanted to hug him. They have thought of everything – lots of thought went into their guests’ needs. It is decorated with antiques yet is comfortable too. The bed is comfortable and the large windows on both sides of the apartment open to create a fresh breeze. The shower water pressure is strong and there is a good place to plug in phones, computers etc. The stairway climb is a workout but the payoff is worth it!

We had a great time at Jean-Luc’s place. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and of the bedroom, which faces the (very pleasant) inner courtyard. It was great to have access to the Seine in all directions, and we loved sitting out in the evenings. The location also gave us easy access to points north and south by foot, and all over via the nearby metro stops. The building was quiet and the cross breeze being on the top floor was great. The kitchen is small and has a small fridge, but the laundry machine in the kitchen washed and dried well. We didn’t cook at all in the week we were there, so didn’t use the oven (on the counter) or the stove. I don’t mind taking the stairs, so the stairs to the apartment from the ground floor weren’t an issue for me, though might be for some. Everyone we encountered in the building was pleasant and friendly. The TV worked well (watched YouTube and Netflix easily), as did the internet. Highly recommended.
